Angelo Senerchia
Angelo Senerchia grew up in Queens, New York. He danced both recreationally and competitively at Fazio Dance Center in Howard Beach and JUMP Dance Studio in Rockaway Park. Angelo continued his dance career at the collegiate level by joining the Molloy University Dance Team from 2020-2025. In his fifth and final year, he proudly served as team captain. During his time on the team, he was frequently selected to choreograph routines, lead practices, and conduct dance clinics for aspiring collegiate athletes. He also had the opportunity to perform on the UDA Nationals floor multiple times in the Open Pom and Jazz categories.
While balancing academics and collegiate dance, Angelo began teaching both recreational and competitive classes at Platinum Performance Dance Academy in Wantagh. He currently works with students of all ages, levels, and styles, sharing his passion and knowledge with the next generation of dancers.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Science and a Master’s degree in Adolescent English and Special Education, Angelo continues to expand his training and work within the dance community. He remains an instructor and choreographer at Platinum Performance Dance Academy, regularly takes class at Studio One on Long Island, and has taken on the role of coach for the Molloy University Dance Team. Moreover, he is now a part of a collegiate dance team coach organization that educates and helps prepare young dancers for the collegiate dance team world known as “The Coached Collab.”
Angelo made his choreographic debut in the DanceWorks NYC Season 25 show and is now entering his third consecutive season as a choreographer. After creating a jazz piece and then a jazz/pom routine in previous seasons, he is excited to switch things up with a lyrical dance to “Dancing” by Elisa!
