Annie started dancing at the age of 4, receiving her training at the School of Classical Ballet and Dance in West Des Moines, Iowa. She was also a Trainee and in the second company at Ballet Des Moines for 4 years where she performed numerous roles in productions including Cinderella, Snow White, Peter Pan, Wizard of Oz, Paquita, Stars and Stripes, and the Nutcracker. Annie has competed in YAGP and completed summer intensives at BalletMet in Columbus, Ohio, the Kansas City Ballet, and Motion 41 Dance in Omaha, Nebraska. 

Annie attended the University of Kansas where she received her BFA in Dance with a minor in Business. During her time at KU, she was a part of the University Dance Company, where she performed in numerous showcases and productions. She served as the Freshman Representative, Marketing Chair, and President of the dance company. She also was a choreographer for many events for her sorority during her 4 years at KU, and was a dance teacher at Sunflower State Dance for 3 years teaching and choreographing all ages in ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, and lyrical styles.

Post-graduation, she moved to Orlando and was a part of Emotions Dance Company where she performed in multiple pieces and shows, focusing mainly in contemporary, jazz, and ballet styles. Annie now resides in NYC where she joined DanceWorks NYC for season 22, and debuting as a choreographer for season 26!
