Arianna Marrero - Marketing Assistant
Arianna is thrilled to be DanceWorks New York City’s Marketing Assistant! In her role, she focuses on carrying out a clear brand image by managing social media, editing, creating strategies, and heavily contributing to the creative aspect of the Marketing within DanceWorks.
Arianna was born and raised in Puerto Rico where she began her journey with the arts. She started taking art classes at 6 years old and dance classes at 8 years old. From then, she never stopped pursuing dance and art as a career. She moved to New York City with her family as a pre-teen and continued her dance training at Broadway Dance Center. She also continued to do art on her own while taking some classes while she was in school. Arianna is trained in various styles such as hip hop, heels, contemporary, ballet, jazz, tap and more.
Arianna attended Frank Sinatra School of the Arts where she continued to pursue her dance career as a dance major. At the same time, she found a love for digital marketing while doing an internship at Kaufman Astoria Studios as a High Schooler. She later attended Adelphi University where she graduated with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration - Management with a Marketing Specialization. During her time at the university, she had the opportunity to work as part of Adelphi University’s Social Media Team as a Freshman until she was a Senior.
While she was in college and after she graduated in 2024, Arianna continued to pursue her passion for the arts. She has since then worked as a professional dancer doing jobs such as, being a part of Bad Bunny’s Music Video for his song “EL CLúB,” performed at an Award show in Puerto Rico, “Premios Tu Música Urbano Mix,” where she had the opportunity to dance with 6 different artists, danced in New York Fashion Week with a clothing brand, and become a part of two dance performance companies in NYC. In addition, she has worked as a personal Administrative Assistant and created her own brand and small business, “by ari” where she sells apparel, accessories, and art.
Arianna has multifaceted passions and interests. In addition to dance, she also loves to write, read, have long conversations about life, spend time in the ocean and nature, and connect with others. Her connection with DanceWorks feels extremely aligned and she is so excited to be a part of the team!
