Brendan grew up in Rockville Centre, NY, where she began dancing at the age of two and trained in tap, ballet, jazz, and contemporary through her hometown studio. While studying Operations Research & Engineering at Cornell University, she continued performing and choreographing as a member of On Tap and Shadows Dance Troupes.

Now based in Manhattan and working in adtech, Brendan has continued to expand her performance career across New York City. She is a company member with Breath Dance Project (@breathdanceproject), appearing in multiple contemporary performances and films, including Perspectives, an Astoria Film Festival award winner. She has also performed tap in Anthology33, Dance Astoria, and other NYC festivals. Brendan remains dedicated to her training and just participated in the 2025 Dorrance Dance’s Nutcracker Suite Intensive.

This is her ninth season with DanceWorks New York City and second as a choreographer with DWNYC. She is thrilled to be creating and performing in Season 26!
