Dylan Modugno
Dylan Modugno grew up in Holbrook, New York, where he trained and competed at TJE Dance Force. He continued his dance career at the collegiate level as a member of the University of Tampa Dance Team from 2016–2020, serving as team captain during his final two years. While in college, Dylan choreographed routines for dance studios throughout Florida and New York and created original works for the university’s student-run dance concerts.
While balancing academics and collegiate dance, Dylan pursued his goal of becoming a physical therapist specializing in performing artists. He is currently a licensed physical therapist with a focus in performing arts medicine and a passion for helping dancers remain strong, mobile, and resilient throughout their careers. Dylan has worked with numerous Broadway and Off-Broadway productions, including Sunset Boulevard, The Notebook, The Great Gatsby, Funny Girl, Pirates! The Penzance Musical, Gotta Dance, Operation Mincemeat, and Old Friends.
In addition to his Broadway work, Dylan has treated dancers from prestigious organizations including Hope Boykin Dance, Gallim, Precision Dance Collective, Parsons Dance, School of American Ballet, Dance Theatre of Harlem, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, and Manhattan Youth Ballet, as well as students from Steps Conservatory, New York University, Pace University, and Marymount Manhattan College.
Outside of the clinic, Dylan remains actively involved in the dance community as an instructor and choreographer at TJE Dance Force. He regularly trains in New York City and works as a freelance dancer, performing in both live productions and film projects throughout the year.
This is Dylan’s fourth season with DanceWorks and his first season serving as a choreographer. He is honored to share his passion for dance and movement with the talented dancers of DanceWorks and looks forward to a memorable season together.
