Jasmine Plank
Jasmine Plank began dancing at the age of two across the pond in Wokingham, England, where she debuted in the tiny tots dance “Never Smile At A Crocodile” from Peter Pan. Four years later, her family moved to the US, which did not stop her love for dance!
Since moving to the US, Jasmine has trained in Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary, Hip Hop, & Tap (with a soft spot for the latter two), and has competed in various styles with competition dance teams. After living and dancing in New Canaan, CT; Cincinnati, OH; & Hopewell, NJ, Jasmine then took on her next chapter at Fordham University.
At Fordham, Jasmine made it onto the college’s only hip hop dance team, Fordham Flava, where she found a love for choreographing, and went on to choreograph over 20 pieces for the group during her four years there. Embracing her love for the team, she also served as Public Relations Manager her junior year, and President of the team her senior year, all while earning a Bachelors in Digital Design and minoring in Computer Science.
Craving to hit the stage again after college, Jasmine is so happy to have danced among the amazing community of DanceWorks New York City last season, and cannot be more excited to return as a choreographer and dancer for Season 21!
