Jillian fell in love with dance at the mere age of 2, while dancing alongside her mother in their family owned studio. During high school she fell in love with hip-hop and contemporary the most out of her studied styles. She then taught at her studio for 5 years in addition to choreographing competition pieces. At her alma mater, Hofstra University (‘15), she was a dancer and choreographer for Imani Dance Ensemble, and so be it, Danceworks, another production club at the university. Jillian has appeared in music videos, individual film dance projects, has taught master classes and workshops along the East Coast, choreographed for Anthology 33, and has performed in various competitions around the Tri-State area. She is thrilled to continue pursuing her passion and share the dance floor with such talented individuals. She currently works within Prosthetics and Orthotics at The Hospital for Special Surgery. This is her 8th time choreographing and her monumental 10th season with DanceWorks New York City!
