Kat Dillon began dancing at the age of five in Westchester, New York, training in a variety of styles, including hip hop, jazz, lyrical, tap, Broadway jazz, and ballet. Throughout high school, she was a member of her dance studio’s competition team and performed/choreographed in her high school's dance performing arts program.

Her passion for dance continued through college, where she performed with her sorority dance team, and after graduation, as a dance studio instructor teaching hip hop to students of all ages. Kat is currently in her eighth season with DanceWorks NYC, where she has performed in a variety of contemporary, jazz, hip hop, and fusion style pieces.

Kat is thrilled to be stepping up and into the role of choreographer for her first piece with DanceWorks. Not only is she grateful for the opportunity to create alongside such talented dancers, she is also excited to bring her love for performing and vision to the stage this season.
