Savannah (Sav) has been a dancer her entire life, having grown up as the daughter of a lifelong dancer and owner of the Dance Academy of State College, where she began taking classes as early as four years old. Having trained in various styles including but not limited to ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, contemporary, modern, and world dance—she began teaching and choreographing for competitive dance ensembles at the age of 16. During this time, Savannah attended countless workshops, conventions, and competitions including JUMP, ASH, and NYCDA, among others. After graduating from high school in 2014, she continued to teach and choreograph for both competitive ensembles and soloists while attending Penn State University.

Savannah graduated from Penn State University Park in 2018 with a B.Des in Graphic Design and a minor in Art History. While at university, she danced with and choreographed for the Volé Ballet Company as a member of its Performance Company, performing at various events around campus. After graduation Savannah moved to Boston to pursue her career in graphic design where she learned and practiced fire dance performance for the next 4 years, contributing to choreography for the closing ceremony of Burning Man 2022 with the New England Fire Conclave.

After moving to Brooklyn in 2022 to continue her career as an Art Director, Savannah has performed in various showcases and ensembles including YCF and DanceWorks. She is now entering her sixth season as a DanceWorks dancer and first as a choreographer! She is thrilled to share her work on the DanceWorks New York City stage this season!
